LaptopsAnytime is a U.S.-based technology company headquartered in Hayward, California, and a pioneer in automated device lending solutions. Since our founding in 2010, we’ve been designing and manufacturing our entire kiosk ecosystem—including hardware, software, and backend systems—entirely in the United States. Our purpose-built kiosks are trusted by public institutions, schools, and libraries to provide secure, efficient access to laptops and devices—making technology available anytime, to anyone who needs it. Brainy is the natural extension of our platform—a powerful, on-premise AI assistant developed to democratize artificial intelligence and make it truly accessible to all learners. Built as an add-on to our kiosk systems, Brainy runs on local hardware using open-source AI models, ensuring privacy, transparency, and community ownership. It’s designed for universities and public libraries seeking to offer equitable, secure AI access in a way that empowers individuals while respecting their data.
